One thing I have learned in my 10+ years as a photographer is that 2 year olds were made for mini sessions. 2 Year Old Mini Session. When I started portrait photography mini sessions didn’t exist. Whoever came up with the idea is a genius. Kids and babies in general have a short attention span, but two year olds are right about that “terrible” stage. I didn’t experience it much with my first little one, but my boy has made up for that in spades. He gave us about 2 good minutes and the remaining 8 minutes was chasing him around. So I thought I would share what really goes on behind the lens. And mind you they are ALL still super adorable to this mama bear. I will embarrass him with these when he is in high school! The good stuff is at the end.
