Something you may not see everyday is an Albuquerque Newborn Photographer Shooting an Engagement Session. Why? because I love LOVE in all its forms. Besides where do we get a newborn from anyways? 🙂
For this session I was an Albuquerque Newborn Photographer Shooting an Engagement Session. I definitely shoot families more frequently, but I love to get my hands on a couple of lovebirds. And even moreso when they are family. This beautiful woman, I have watched grow for the last 15 years. I can’t believe I have taken her high school portraits, college graduation portraits, and now her engagement photos.
Being and Albuquerque Newborn Photographer I have the chance to use my craft to help capture so many milestones for my clients but also for the ones that I hold dear. I was so honored to take these for this sweet couple.
Both were game for whatever ideas I had in store for them. I had searched for this location for months. About 2 weeks before this I was able to find the location and couldn’t wait to use it. Being the excited newly engaged couple, they were ready to take their images right away, which worked out perfect for me.
This spot is about 40 minutes outside of Rio Rancho, even further for my clients as they live in the depths of ABQ. But they made it, ON TIME and ahead of schedule. A photographers dream, that chases the light. We were not only able to catch sunset, but with plenty of time to spare. We will avoid talking about the major dust storm on the way in that looked like a fire. For about 5 minutes I thought the shoot was off.
Do not fear they were all in, no matter what weather. We pushed though because inside the canyon the wind was so calm. It was such a beautiful evening. We had such a good time enjoying watching their love in action.
I can’t wait for the wedding!!! And maybe one day I can be their Albuquerque Newborn Photographer! (not any time soon though, ha!)
