Albuquerque Newborn Photographers | What to expect leading up to and during your maternity session.

First off, you want to make sure you are looking into finding a photographer at least by 3-6 months along. The best time to have your Albuquerque Newborn Photography session is 5-14 days after birth. As a Albuquerque Newborn Photographers | What to expect from my schedule is that I can book out as far as 3-4 months in advance. Therefore, you want to snag a space as soon as you are ready.

In order to provide each client with the same exceptional customer services I only schedule a limited amount of sessions each month. I want to make sure the each session and product order receive my full attention and creativity.

Albuquerque Newborn Photographers | What to expect next is that you can schedule an in person or phone consultation. This allows us to get to know each other if we haven’t already met from your Albuquerque Maternity Session. I can find out what your comfort zone is for your photos. Are we shooting implied nude, or elegant fine art with gowns. Will your other half be joining in, and even siblings? This allows me to prep the shoot ahead of time for colors, textures and flow. If you come to the studio for your consult you are welcome to try on my some of the gowns and bodysuits, and view the newborn options from the client closet. We will also schedule your shoot date.

On the shoot day, should you wish to opt into hair and makeup, that would start first. While you do that I can begin the color shots with your newest addition. Blanket poses, wrapped or natural; bucket poses, flat lay, the works. After you are all glammed up we can jump right into family shots. If you come ready we would start with family shots. Don’t worry, I will help to direct your posing. I will help to keep the focus more on your newborn baby than the adorable outfit he/she is wearing! Rest assured that some poses will feel unnatural, but I will take good care of you and you new baby. You will love the way you look and feel. I may even let you catch a sneak peak.

Speaking of viewing your images, after your session is complete we will schedule your reveal/ordering appointment. This will take place about 2 weeks after your Rio Rancho Newborn session. I will finally allow you see your images in all their glory. Tears may be shed, it is normal. Emotions get the best of many when they see our tiny their newest addition really is.

All parties involved in purchasing need to be at the ordering appointment. This is the day that you place your prints and products order and make payment. Here we will create a collection that fits YOU! We can curate a timeless matted folio box that is versatile or we can design a beautiful leather album to showoff on your coffee table. And there is so much more.
