We added new clients to the DRP Family this weekend with this Albuquerque, New Mexico holiday Session. I was so excited to get to photograph these little ones. Only it was their loving Grandma that was in all the photos with them. Mom and Dad let them have the spotlight with the matriarch of the family. Those little ones love their grandma and she surely adores them right back.
Not to mention how easy these little ones were in front of the lens. This Old Town Albuquerque shoot was a tough one. Being that everyone wants to be outside with any sort of warm weather right now, Old Town was packed. Crazy busy and bustling with Holiday Cheer. We made the best of it, waited patiently for each location while other photogs grabbed their images with their clients, all the while the 3 children were happy to be outside and ready to smile when it was time. The sweetest bond between the two sisters was adorable to watch. The littlest one looked up to her sister and had no problem doing anything and everything she asked. I think I’m hiring big sister as my new assistant.
I think the best part of this session was that Grandma had a fun surprise up her sleeve for her grandkids. When it came time they all sported HOLIDAY FUN headbands. The kids loved them and didn’t want to take them off. All I can think is this Grandma must be a blast to have in the family! Such a lovely family all around. My heart was exploding with excitement to photograph them.
All in all I am so happy to meet new friends and can’t wait til Mom and Dad are ready to jump in on the next session. Hoping 2021 is the year we take the Big Family Photo!
