DRP had the first session after reopening for the State. This maternity session was the blessing we all needed. It has been so hard not being able to work and capture these timeless images for our clients. We completed a virtual newborn session last month, but even that seemed like it wasn’t enough.
The first session after reopening gave this bittersweet feeling. We are not out of the woods as far as the threat of the virus yet, but DRP is doing what we can to help keep our clients safe as well as offer them the most memorable images of this time in their lives.
This beautiful couple allowed us to grab these shot a few weeks before their due date. Let me also mention both of these parents are essential heroes. I can’t be more thankful for the work they do everyday. They were worried that this shoot may not happen, as so many special events had to be cancelled. I’m so glad I got them in the first day of the reopen. The following Thursday I sent them their images, and the response was they were already in the hospital awaiting their arrival of their new little one. Phew they got them just in time!!! A beautiful story, and a happy and healthy mommy and baby!
